SYNOPSIS

"To be a pine tree" is a poetic, observational documentary about the end of the days of resin, pine forests, and resin workers in Portugal. To prevent the end of their presence from becoming ghostly, the documentary anticipates the loss with this cinematic memory as an homage to the resin and the resin people.
