SYNOPSIS

[EN] A middle-aged taxi driver begins his night shift with his spirits weighed down by a hollow marriage and a stagnant personal life. As he drives through the semi-deserted streets of Rome, he encounters a series of nocturnal figures who restore fragments of humanity from which he now feels detached. But it is only when he receives a call from his own address that the journey takes an emotional turn. From the window of his building, the taxi driver catches a glimpse of his wife with another man. Shortly afterwards, that same man gets into his taxi. The enigmatic and charming passenger begins to speak in philosophical and reflective tones, prompting the taxi driver to confront his unhealed wounds. With his disarming calm, the passenger becomes a kind of spiritual guide, a bridge between pain and awareness. The taxi ride thus becomes a silent transformation for the taxi driver, who will be forced to break down his emotional barriers and face the night no longer as a refuge, but as an inner battlefield.
