SYNOPSIS

[EN] When Astrid, a newlywed immigrant caregiver, moves into her husband Gabriel’s home, she is introduced to his ailing mother, Meredith Costas, who is living with Alzheimer’s. But their quiet domestic life is quickly unsettled when Meredith repeatedly calls Astrid by the name “Angie.” Curious and unsettled, Astrid begins to ask questions but Gabriel remains evasive. As fragments of truth slip through Meredith’s confused memories, Astrid is drawn into the mystery of Angie’s identity. The answers she seeks unravel slowly until one morning, while Gabriel is away, Meredith falls ill. In trying to help her rest, Astrid stumbles upon a hidden box in the bedroom one that holds undeniable proof that Gabriel has been keeping dark secrets.
