SYNOPSIS

[EN] A silent journey through Teotihuacán, where new signs meet ancient stones. The film follows the making of the site’s new signage —from porcelain-steel plates forged in the factory to their installation among pyramids and plazas— observed through images and sounds alone. Fragments of Nahuatl codices, voiced in their original language, intertwine with these scenes, evoking the city’s myth of origin and the enduring power of symbols. Signs of Teotihuacán reflects on how visual communication shapes both heritage and contemporary identity in the “place where gods were made.”
