SYNOPSIS

[EN] Thirteen-year-old William is haunted by the violent death of his father. To cope, he relies on Joe Hunt, an imaginary action hero who promises strength and protection. Together they embark on a search for the truth, but the investigation takes a darker turn as Joe’s influence grows more dangerous and William’s world begins to fracture. His mother, once cast as the enemy, emerges with a different story, challenging William’s faith in his only ally. Blending memory, fantasy, and mystery, Joe Hunt is a visceral thriller about masculinity, loss, and a boy’s desperate fight to uncover the truth.
