[EN] Oo-tsúi-kau is an ocean between Taiwan and Penghu, an offshore island of Taiwan. In Xijiyu, a village around ocean of Penghu, there was a ceremony named The King’s Boat due to shipwreck until the government-mandated relocation in 1978. Without narration or subtitles, the film reconstructs the ceremony by image, sound, 3D scanning and 3D animation. It explores the enduring emotional and historical connections between memories, faith and culture.
