SYNOPSIS

[EN] Short: In the vibrant world of 1950s Mexican wrestling an upcoming luchador, El Corazón, is consumed with a lust for vengeance towards the world's most renowned wrestler, El Tigre. Long: Set against the backdrop of the colourful Mexican wrestling scene of the 1950s, "El Corazón" follows the journey of an upcoming luchador who dreams of making a name for himself in the ring. Despite his determination, he becomes lost with a lust for vengeance after being traumatised by a tragic accident dating back to his childhood. His nemesis, the greatest luchador of all time, the charismatic and untouchable superstar of Mexican wrestling, El Tigre. As tension builds, El Corazón must confront the moral dilemma of his own identity in the search to expose El Tigre. The film climaxes in a dramatic showdown between El Corazón and El Tigre, where the true battle is not fought in the ring but within themselves.
