SYNOPSIS

[EN] In 2013 China, a sudden event leads 16-year-old orphan Zhi to accidentally kill a boy. Seeking refuge, Zhi flees to a Buddhist monastery, where he meets a kind woman who, unbeknownst to him, is the mother of the deceased boy. Instead of continuing to flee, Zhi decides to deceive the police in an attempt to stay close to her, drawn by the motherly warmth he feels from her. They remain unaware that their fates, entwined by karma, have intertwined long ago, and now destiny guides them toward an uncertain future...
