SYNOPSIS

[EN] Kolya (17 years old) finishes school and lives on the outskirts of the city together with his father, a car mechanic. For a long time the boy has been developing a Robot with artificial intelligence in order to take part in an all-Russian competition and win a grant to study in a good technical university. But the closed and rigid character of his father and the absence of his mother led to the fact that the hero does not know how to express his own emotions. This psychological flaw prevents Kolya from teaching the robot to experience and express human feelings. At school Kolya receives an unusual task from the teacher: it is necessary to help a girl from a dysfunctional family to pull up her grades. But at first even the girl is sceptical about both the idea and Kolya himself. Only after making sure that he can really help with school problems, she offers him a barter: the hero helps her with her studies, and she shows him a completely different life, filled with adventures and feelings. After all, this is what is so necessary for his development to gain self-awareness and the ability to show emotions. Gradually Kolya immerses himself in street life and falls in love with the heroine. The girl also shows interest in him, but Kolya suddenly leaves town - it turns out that his father has serious financial problems. In anger at his father, he gets rid of the robot, which still could not feel anything. The heroine finds the robot near Kolya's house and decides to throw it away to finally forget about the guy. But suddenly the robot starts to talk: it turns out that it has gained self-awareness after all.
