SYNOPSIS

[EN] Mother Lidia is an immersive and unsettling portrait of Lidia Fuentes, a healer with a divine gift for breaking curses. In her home, accompanied by her blind husband and terminally ill father, we see her receiving patients seeking to be cured of devastating ailments with dark and mysterious origins. Between exorcisms, unearthings, and moments of daily life, a universe is revealed where a complex and fascinating balance exists between seemingly incompatible forces—a contrast between the magical and the mundane.
