SYNOPSIS

[EN] The young and unconventional Danish singer Asta is about to finish her media art studies while trying to establish herself in the music world. An equally strong character, her eight-year-old daughter Ello lives with her father and his new wife in a middle-class suburb, where she practices the violin outdoors so as not to disturb the newborn. Weekends are an adventure with her mother in the city: galloping through the streets like ponies, making up song lyrics about annoying neighbours, and visiting the restaurant where Asta works as a singing waitress. But when Asta learns that her ex and his wife are speaking ill of her in front of Ello, the carefully crafted world she has built suddenly begins to crack. A light-hearted drama about an unconventional mother-daughter bond, with original music by singer Alice Rose.
