SYNOPSIS

[EN] A residential building collapses in Mumbai. Tenants gather outside to film the loss of their homes with their mobiles. The Hindi film industry makes a rapid change from celluloid to digital. 4 analogue film veterans reflect on the loss of their craft. A sweetshop in Mumbai blares its lassi advertisement into the traffic jam outside. Since the gridlock is caused by the restaurant itself, the city decides to knock it down to widen the road. While shooting a soap opera, 200 crew members witness a leopard entering their set, killing a stray dog in front of their eyes. An expanded multi-genre documentary within the constraints of the so-called Masala Formula, popularly known from Indian cinema.
