SYNOPSIS

[EN] The Alter Teichweg district school is a large and well-known German school with over 1,800 students in Hamburg's poorest and most socially challenging neighborhood. In spring 2025, the principal took a three-month leave of absence. In the meantime, three very different successors took over his power and his desk. THE POWER VACUUM was an extraordinary theater and democracy experiment conducted during the ongoing operation of a large German educational institution and made big waves at the school and in the surrounding area.
