SYNOPSIS

[EN] Jane, an insecure and unembodied woman, moves cross country with her airhead boyfriend, Paul. As they settle into their new home together, Jane is shocked to discover an eccentric woman named Sandra, squatting in their unfinished basement. Jane agrees to let Sandra stay despite Paul’s disapproval. As time goes on Jane and Sandra’s friendship evolves, Jane finds herself feeling more empowered, but the closer Jane grows to Sandra, the further her relationship with Paul unravels. This culminates in Paul confronting Sandra, and in a moment of panic, locking her in a crawl space in the basement. Later, when Jane discovers what Paul has done, she frees Sandra and ends her relationship with Paul.
