SYNOPSIS
[EN] During the opening engagement of the Irish Civil War in June 1922, the Public Record Office in Dublin’s Four Courts burns, erasing centuries of Irish history in a single inferno. A century later, a filmmaker examines the remains to explore the rebuilding of this repository in the form of an archive in the digital age. In Acts of Memory the elusive nature of truth and memory is sought.
