SYNOPSIS

[EN] In China, there are a considerable number of special children, but we seldom see them in our daily lives. They are hidden at home by their parents, or they hide their words and actions because of their uniqueness. However, everyone is like a little star, capable of illuminating a corner of the world. The film tells the story of a special school in Changde, Hunan, a fourth-tier city in China. Here, a group of young teachers tries to use modern educational concepts to help special children grow. They interpret the concept that education is about awakening: a tree shakes another tree; a cloud moves another cloud; a soul awakens another soul; a group of special people heals another group of special people. The story adopts a straightforward perspective, creative methods, and beautiful images, focusing on the living conditions of special children. Every special child has their own color. It seems that we are educating them, but in fact, they are healing us.
