SYNOPSIS

[EN] Monsters is a short documentary about 3 children of different origins. The families of Roaa, Zainab and Noe Noe all fled to the Netherlands for different reasons. In a recreated bedroom, the three girls draw and describe their self-invented fantasy monster Cappi Don Liii. Through the monster they talk about happy and less joyful memories, friendship, and growing up in an asylum seekers center.
