SYNOPSIS

[EN] Magda stayed with her mother in Romania. Her family were once Hungarian factory owners, but today they are impoverished and her mother no longer leaves the house. She is waiting her son’s return, who will rehabilitate the expropriated family wealth. When her new tenant cannot pay the rent for the small guest apartment, Magda sells her mother's beloved painting to make ends meet.
