SYNOPSIS
[EN] It’s 2040, the pandemic resulted in environmental disasters destroying livestocks. No one has eaten meat in 15 years. Geok, 78, is a dirt poor vagrant who collects and sells recyclable junk. The state radio announces that scientists managed to rejuvenate land in Singapore’s offshore islands to farm veal. Each slice will go on sale in supermarkets for S$399. Geok must have this meat at all costs.
