SYNOPSIS

[EN] Trilogy of stop-motion animated short films inspired by Dino Buzzati, one of the main Italian writers. A man comes home at night and steps on a cockroach; another man locks himself in his office to write a letter to the woman he loves, but is constantly interrupted; and from a skyscraper, a girl hovers in the air. The common thread is time, which in Buzzati’s poetics gets warped by emotions and distorted by choices. Thus, the agony of the insect stops time and influences the world around; the writing of the letter turns one day into an entire life and the metaphor for social climbing becomes a dive into the void.
