SYNOPSIS

[EN] The historic hotel ensemble at Straubingerplatz in Bad Gastein and the dramatic nearby waterfall are the inspiration behind Stefanie Sixt’s and Markus Mehrs audiovisual installation. Her macroscopic journey into the past elevates the strata of time and turns them into an aesthetic element. Sound artist Markus Mehr created a composition for the installation, made from field recordings.
