SYNOPSIS

[EN] 1563. French convince their Tupinambá allies to unite with other tribes to fight the Portuguese. The governor general of Brazil sends the Jesuits Manoel da Nóbrega and José de Anchieta to a peace agreement. As a guarantee, Anchieta is held hostage in Ubatuba. During the 5 months of captivity, Anchieta begins to have doubts about his mission and vocation. Until one day, God gives his answer.
