Sri Lanka / 2021 / Expérimental, Documentaire / 4’58”I2200871
[EN] This film began as a reaction to recent elections in Sri Lanka, which saw the rise of the Rajapaksa family to bold new heights, to then expanding into a wider exploration of misery as a global phenomenon. This associative stream of visuals, culled from the past, reflect on the roles of art, labor, and journalism in contemporary Sri Lanka, facing a dubious future ahead.
