SYNOPSIS

[EN] Tyrol, 1866. In order to secure the continuity of the family's secluded homestead, young widow Marfa is to marry the farmer's mentally handicapped only son. However, the farmer himself is to pay her nightly visits until she delivers an heir. A taciturn stranger gives her hope, but things get out of hand.
