SYNOPSIS

[EN] In 19th century Sweden it was popularized to keep living eels in private wells. These eels, bereft their pilgrimages to the Sargasso Sea, lived to be exceptionally old. This animated dramatization is an account of the life, death, and afterlife of one of these lonesome creatures.
