[EN] In April 2014, a police operation in the favela Pavão-Pavãozinho, in Rio de Janeiro, led to the killing of dancer Douglas Silva, a.k.a. DG. MATER DOLOROSA follows DG's mother, Maria de Fatima da Silva, through the funeral and the protest that happened the next day.
