BIOGRAPHIE

Kate Maveau is an audiovisual artist. She graduated with a master’s degree in film from RITCS, Brussels, and Newport Film School, Uk. She studied human behavioural patterns that she concluded in her award-nominated short film SHIMI. This experience gave her a ticket to work on sets of experienced directors like Lars Von Trier. In her spare time, Kate expresses herself through music by exploring new techniques on her violin. Addicted to storytelling, she consumes games in search of new experiences. She’s quirky and observant, yet once you get to know her, she will challenge you to a fierce dance duel. Kate is a queer woman residing in Antwerp, Belgium.
