Pete Schilling (artist name) is very experienced in working with complex light structures and dynamic movements to achieve the greatest visual impact. His design background forms the basis for every aesthetic decision along the way. Pete studied communication design with a focus on film at Trier University of Applied Sciences, where he successfully completed a Master of Arts degree. Pete has done projects for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, VW, Land Rover and Leica. He started filming action sports as a young teenager at the skate park and in the woods. He then deepened his knowledge and range of storytelling in design studies. After graduating with his master's degree in 2014, he started a career as a director who is also able to direct and edit the camera himself. Driven by his passion for unique storytelling, Pete is an energetic perfectionist who always maintains an emotional, human level in every production. He has been working on various scripts for short and feature films since 2019.
