Chiara Rapisarda

BIOGRAPHIE

Chiara Rapisarda was born in Sicily in 1994. After graduating from the University of Roma Tre in Disciplines of the Arts and Entertainment with a thesis in Institutions of Direction: The time of Nostalgia. Fellini's legacy in Italian cinema; complete a specialization Master in Direction, Photography with teachers such as Giovanni Piperno, Manetti Bros, Duccio Cimatti (2020). He has made several photographic reportages including Maroc: en route in the hinterland of Morocco, Saudade in Portugal between Coimbra and Sintra, Paysage Sicilien in Sicily and more recently in Tunisia (work in progress 2023). He curated an art photography project entitled “Vanishment” supervised by photographer Richard Kalvar of Magnum Photos. He writes and directs several short films, which have obtained numerous awards on an international scale: Guest (2019) produced by Movieside Cinematografica and the participation as Author of photography by Gianni Mammolotti. La Veglia (2022) produced by Vimove, with original music by composer Paolo Vivaldi. He is currently working on the development of his debut film entitled The Apprentice (2023)
