Thanos Kermitsis was born in Athens in 1985. He is a graduate of the Film & Tv Studies Department of New York College Athens, a graduate of the Post Production Department of the Intergraphics College of Applied Arts and a graduate of the Public Administration Department of the Panteion University. He has been active since 2008, having directed short films, while his first feature film was the award winning fantasy film “The Dragonphoenix Chronicles: Indomitable” in 2013. All his films have been distinguished and awarded in International and National Film Festivals. He has been awarded three times as a screenwriter, at the Panhellenic Script Contest of the Greek Screenwriters Guild, with his screenplays “Family Park” and “3L3N1” in 2015 and “4 Circles” in 2017. In 2016, in collaboration with actor-director Dimitris Lalos, he taught in Cinema Acting Seminars, at the Theatre “Tempus Verum en Athinais” in Athens. He was the Artistic Director of the Ionian International Digital Film Festival, which took place in Lefkada in 2012 and 2013.
