SYNOPSIS

In a remote French countryside, Hugo, a marginal young man and drug addict, meets Sandrine, a single mother of a little girl. They quickly fall in love, and for a time each of them achieves a form of peace and happiness. But the social and psychological tensions of their environment leave them little respite.
