SYNOPSIS

France, Summer 1940. Half of the country is occupied by the Nazis, but somewhere in the free territories, in the South, 10 years old Louis watches his world collapse. His elder brother leaves to join the résistance in London, leaving him alone with his downcast, gruff father. Torn between contradictory feelings and anchorless, Louis tries to find his own way in these most troubled times.
