SYNOPSIS

Through the intertwined stories of moudjahidate (women fighters) and their daughters, Nos mères en héritage revives the memories of the Algerian War of Independence and questions the silences surrounding women’s involvement. Blending intimate testimonies with political reflections on feminist and decolonial fights, this documentary serves as a tool for education, collective memory, and reappropriation.
