SYNOPSIS

On a summer’s afternoon, the 25-year-old Vili sits on Margaret Island in Budapest, lost in his memories: old friends, a recent heartbreak and an unexpected encounter shape his inner monologue. The film follows a lyrical exploration of the search of identity, social paralysis caused by the political milieu, and the tranquil melancholy of today’s Hungarian youth. Its non-linear narrative is found upon Vili’s recollections. Shot on an iPhone 6, the film adopts nostalgia as its starting point, resonating with the generation’s longing to escape the weight of adulthood.
