Monday, sandwiches. Wednesday, presentation. Thursday, sandwiches. Friday, thesis. And on weekends—sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches. Haein (27) juggles her life as a café worker and a graduate student. Meanwhile, one pain she can name—menstrual cramps—keeps gnawing at her. Yet her suffering is never properly recorded. The hospital reduces it to numbers, the café to silence, and society to judgment. Within this routine, Haein quietly grows angry. And slowly, she begins to wake up. Finally, instead of explaining herself, she simply raises her middle finger.
