SYNOPSIS

A family recently moved to a small village in the North of Portugal, near Porto, in order to create a calmer and freer environment for their youngest son, Tito, a 5-year-old non-verbal autistic child. The story tells the end of a week, as if it were just another, which adds to so many others where everything is repeated, but which will end like no other before. A film, driven by the mother’s lens, that presents the theme of autism as a backdrop, not as a burden but as an opportunity for (greater) approximation between everyone. Wandering between moments of light and shadow, trying to leverage the existing circumstances and never give up hoping for the simplest things every day. That for many are what is no longer valued and for others they are the greatest treasure for which one longs. Like hello or goodbye. Or a simple good morning, mom.
