SYNOPSIS

In the turbulent Ankara of late 1970s Turkey, Faruk returns home injured after putting up illegal pamphlets. As the political violence on the streets slowly seeps into the household, Faruk finds himself torn between his ideals and his responsibility to his family. While his mother Mutal quietly strives to protect them, small acts of everyday resistance reveal the fragile existence of a family living under the looming shadow of the approaching military coup.
