SYNOPSIS

BRIEF: Through a careful, sensitive, and delicate approach, supported by a unique and striking visual aesthetic, Sopro (Blow) is a subtle and profound dive into the intimate world of children, addressing themes such as gender definitions, the rigidity of social standards, and the oppression of freedom within the family nucleus—which should be the primary place of welcome, care, and protection. SYNOPSIS: On the seventh birthday of a child who lives with their “perfect family” in a “dollhouse” but doesn´t fit into conventional gender norms, the social pressure imposed by their traditional family is so suffocating that the only way to escape is to make the magical birthday wish, before blowing out the candle on the cake.
