SYNOPSIS

Gus and Clark — married, late 30s — live in a not-so-distant future where sexuality must be declared in order to apply for American civil and fiscal services. Gus and Clark share the same humble dream: to apply for a mortgage. This small but sincere hope leads them to take the Sx Test — a mandated medical procedure that claims to “verify” sexuality for legal use. The test’s brief but brutal trial of personal exposure yields surprising results, causing Gus and Clark to question the nature of attraction in their rapidly binarizing world.
