SYNOPSIS

Proposals for the Interpretation of a Dream is an experimental film that presents two avenues of oneirocriticism; one aligned with religion and the other with spirituality. This collision of faiths not only aids the main character, Safia, in her journey of dream decryption, but also calls on the ambiguity of the subconscious and its inherent inability to be tethered to a single line of logic. Safia, who will otherwise continue to suffer from the recurring dream, must decide through her pursuit which beliefs she wants to resonate with, and thus, which interpretation she wishes to adhere to.
