SYNOPSIS

August 1961: A Jewish family from Casablanca hastily leaves Morocco. More than sixty years later, the family’s matriarch reflects on the events that compelled them to leave, almost overnight, the country where they were all born. Beyond the circumstances of this exile, the film evokes a vanished Judeo-Arab world that still exists in our memories.
