A young woman lives through an ordinary day in Tbilisi, having recently emigrated from Russia in 2022. The film captures the disorienting limbo of displacement that lingers long after arrival. We follow her through her established routine: work, then a journey to the bus station where she waits for someone who never arrives. At a bustling flower market, vendors arrange bouquets while a small television broadcasts the opening of a Soviet war film "Farewell to the Boys". The juxtaposition creates an unsettling metaphor: even in Georgia's peaceful markets, echoes of conflict follow. People select flowers as if preparing for funerals rather than celebrations. Through fragmented imagery, muted colors, and the ambient sounds of an unfamiliar city, September explores the psychological landscape of modern migration. The film transforms one woman's personal crisis into a meditation on memory, loss, and the search for belonging when home no longer exists. Based on the director's own experience, this poetic documentary blends intimate observation with broader questions about identity and survival in times of upheaval
