Naif, a celebrated novelist in his late forties, isolates himself in search of a cure for his writer’s block, but what begins as a creative struggle soon unravels into a deeper crisis of memory, identity, and time itself. As he drifts through moments of confusion and gaps in memory, Naif begins piecing together fragments of his life: time slips, forgotten places, relationships he no longer recognizes. Everything inside his mind feels complete, yet nothing adds up. Unbeknownst to him, Naif is battling early-onset Alzheimer’s, a rare and inherited form of the disease. He writes and rewrites his novel in a never-ending loop, unaware that he's done it all before. Two mysterious figures, guardians of his memory, anchor him to what remains of his past. Whenever his mind slips into an ending, they gently offer a new beginning. In this loop of loss and creation, Naif keeps writing, and forgetting, and writing again, trapped between what was and what could still be.
