SYNOPSIS

In 2008 the US started drilling the “Eagle Ford Formation” an area situated in South Texas, full of oil and natural gas. To push the development of the area a group of scientists were invited to attend conferences and visit the oil wells. The aim was to inform them about the new technologies and celebrate the positive economic impact of this exploitation. During a site visit an italian scientist was shattered and started feeling sick. He remained in a state of confusion for three days and described his sensations as a kind of hypnosis triggered by the landscape itself.
