SYNOPSIS

After a car crash leaves her mother in a coma, 19-year-old Dakota must care for her ADHD-afflicted brother. Supported by the Ontario Arts Council and NFB’s Filmmaker Assistance Program, Burdened explores grief, resilience, and growing up too soon.
