SYNOPSIS

FILM LOGLINE: Spira, Spera. While I breathe, I hope. A humble municipal employee's idea to revive an old tradition is brushed off - forcing him to take on the biggest task of his life alone, with only three days to make it work. FILM SYNOPSIS: In a bustling modern city, a quiet, unassuming MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE proposes a simple yet heartfelt idea: during the upcoming city celebration, just three days away, residents should hang their most beautiful rugs over their balconies. In this city, where rug weaving dates back to ancient times, displaying rugs symbolizes joy, pride, and family bonds. The man seeks no recognition - only to revive a forgotten fairy tale and bring beauty and love back into people’s lives. But his idea is met with skepticism and indifference. His bureaucratic managers and colleagues dismiss it without a thought - a pattern that repeats year after year. Undeterred, the ‘little man’ sets out on his own, going door to door - visiting homes, businesses, and public places - trying to spark inspiration one person at a time. What follows is a whimsical, unpredictable journey. From morning till night, he finds himself in absurd, touching, and often hilarious situations. Some mistrust him; others misunderstand him. He’s beaten at one doorstep and gifted at another. He narrowly escapes fatal end in one home and is swept into a passionate tango in another. Can this ‘little’, but determined man realize the grandest dream of his life in just three days? Can he awaken hearts numbed by routine and doubt? As the final morning dawns and the city prepares for celebration, hope hangs delicately - like the rugs themselves - waiting to catch the first sunlight...
