SYNOPSIS

Wooree, a young woman determined to end her life, visits a pharmacy in search of sleeping pills. Sensing her intentions, the pharmacist Ji-yeon hesitates—but eventually hands her a box of laxatives instead, in secret. In a sealed room, with duct tape covering the cracks and charcoal smoke rising, Wooree swallows the pills and waits for death. But soon, waves of unbearable pain overwhelm her: diarrhea, vomiting, coughing, breathlessness. What follows is not a peaceful death, but a brutal fight against her own body’s urgent reactions. Throughout the long night of repeated attempts, the lights in the pharmacy remain on. The pharmacist is still there—waiting, in case she comes back.
