SYNOPSIS

Basketball player, Nora, struggles both on and off the court. During a tournament, she struggles to score while being haunted by ‘Ball-Head’, a mysterious figure embodying her anxieties about intimacy. When she realizes her best friend and team captain, Abby, might have feelings for her, Ball-Head’s presence intensifies, fueling her anxiety and the pressure to conform to social expectations around physical intimacy. Overwhelmed, Nora pulls away, straining her bond with Abby and her place on the team. In the final game, she crumbles under the weight of expectation but, in a defining moment with Ball-Head, she chooses to reject those pressures and publicly declares her asexuality. Though she loses the game, she gains the courage to be honest with Abby, hinting at wanting a relationship, on unusual terms she worries might not be enough for anyone else. But could they be enough for Abby?
