SYNOPSIS

In the superstitious town of San Mateo, Antonio, a shepherd boy, suffers a blow to the head while searching for his lost sheep and wakes up confused in the house of Adolfo, the town renegade. Antonio runs away in terror upon seeing Adolfo dissecting wild animals and returns home, where his mother is horrified when she discovers his wounds. The healer confirms that Antonio has been marked by "The Evil One."
