SYNOPSIS

Tomorrow is Frank's 9th birthday. The harsh words from his parents' argument the night before haunts him. To escape the echoes in his mind, he heads outside with his basketball, yet the basketball rolls into traffic and bursts as he zoned out. On his birthday, Frank unwraps his gifts from his parents and finds two identical soccer balls from his parents. The unexpected awkwardness brings the growing rift in the family to the surface. That night, a microwave accident reignites the tension, and a can of peaches—something Frank is severely allergic to—further escalates the situation, forcing them to re-examine their relationship. Late at night, Frank lies awake in bed, memories drifting into his mind: his parents’ once-loving moments before fights became routine, and even illusionary scenes of happiness from before he was born. As past and present intertwine. Quietly, he re-examines the family and begins deciding how he will remember his family.
